Quartz
Description
A quartz floor coating system is a combination of colored quartz aggregate fused together during application into a seamless surface, comprising 100% solids epoxy and either polyurethane or polyaspartic clear topcoat finish. The system will protect a floor from abrasion and chemical abuse and is suitable for both new construction and restoration. The aggressive texture is adjusted by the application of the finish coat. Quartz is second only to diamonds in hardness, and a double-broadcast quartz floor can withstand impacts of up to 12,000 PSI.Â
